Medical student on motorcycle dies after being struck by car
A female medical student riding a motorcycle has died after being struck by a car in a traffic accident in the Talas district of Kayseri. The tragic accident was captured moment by moment by security cameras.
According to the information obtained, the traffic accident occurred last night on Sayer Street in the Mevlana neighborhood of the district. While Yaren M. (22) was riding her motorcycle, a car with license plate 38 YE 008, driven by K.E. (42), struck her.
Yaren M. was severely injured by the impact, and police and medical teams were dispatched to the area upon notification. While police teams took security measures in the vicinity, medical teams transported Yaren M. to the hospital by ambulance after providing initial intervention at the scene.
The unfortunate student lost her life despite all interventions at the hospital. K.E. was taken into custody by the teams. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
