Meteorology issues warning: Heavy rainfall expected in the new week

According to the latest data released by the General Directorate of Meteorology, showers are expected tomorrow across most of the Marmara Region and in the western parts of the Black Sea Region.

The heavy rainfall, which will manifest itself in many cities on Monday, is expected to lose its effect on Tuesday.

While no significant change is expected in the temperatures affecting the country, it is predicted that the precipitation will decrease in intensity as the week progresses and continue along the northern coasts.

The hot weather currently affecting the country will continue. Temperatures are expected to remain 3-5 degrees above seasonal norms in the western and inland regions, and around seasonal norms in the eastern parts of the country.

Temperatures, which are reaching around 40 degrees, particularly in the Southeastern Anatolia Region and our coastal areas, will continue to be stifling.
