Meteorology issues warning: Not a leaf will stir!
The General Directorate of Meteorology has released the weather report for June 5. According to the report, thunderstorms are expected in Sinop, Erzurum, Erzincan, and Bayburt, while temperatures across the country are expected to remain 8 to 12 degrees above seasonal norms.
According to the statement issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) for June 5, local showers and thunderstorms are expected to occur around noon today in the eastern parts of Kastamonu, the southern parts of Sinop, the Taurus Mountains region of the Eastern Mediterranean, the northern and western parts of Erzurum, the eastern parts of Erzincan and Bayburt, and the inland areas of Rize.
Air temperatures across the country are expected to remain 8 to 12 degrees above seasonal norms.
The wind is expected to blow generally from northerly directions, light to occasionally moderate.
