Mother and daughter found dead in a locked room

The incident occurred in a house located on 86046th Street in the 75th Year neighborhood of the Şahinbey district in Gaziantep. According to reports, relatives who had not heard from 27-year-old Seçil Kaymakçı and her 3-year-old daughter Nilvara for a long time notified the 112 Emergency Health Center.

Upon the report, police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams arriving at the scene determined that one of the rooms in the house was locked.

In the room opened by the fire department, the mother and daughter were found motionless on the floor.

The teams, who detected smoke inside the room, initiated an investigation after their examination, assessing that the crib had caught fire and that the mother and her 3-year-old daughter had lost their lives due to carbon monoxide gas resulting from the fire.

The bodies of 27-year-old Seçil Kaymakçı and her 3-year-old daughter Nilvara Kaymakçı were taken to the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute following the examination. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
