Mother suffering a nervous breakdown grabs a knife: Starts chasing her daughter

The incident occurred around noon in the Yavuzlar neighborhood of the Yüreğir district. The woman, whose identity has not yet been determined, suffered a nervous breakdown and began chasing her daughter with a knife.

The terrified young girl ran out into the street and asked for help from those nearby. Citizens who heard the girl's screams immediately intervened in the situation.

One person stepped in and tried to take the knife from the woman's hand. However, unable to calm the woman down, the man put the young girl on his motorcycle.

While on the motorcycle, the girl, who was being pulled by her hair by her mother in an attempt to take her back home, was rescued through the intervention of those around her.

The young girl was taken away from the scene by motorcycle. The events were captured on the mobile phone cameras of bystanders. Meanwhile, the Adana Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services has launched an investigation into the matter after the footage appeared on social media.
