Necla Nazır speaks out on the dispute at Ferdi Tayfur's funeral: 'People with rotten insides'

The passing of the legendary arabesque name Ferdi Tayfur, who lost his life in the hospital where he was receiving treatment in Antalya, has left his fans in mourning. The funeral of Ferdi Tayfur, who died due to liver and kidney failure, was brought to the Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque after a ceremony held at the Atatürk Cultural Center.

A fight broke out at the coffin of the master artist, who was brought to the Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque for the funeral prayer.

"SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE COME HERE"

When Tuğçe Tayfur, who was known to be estranged from Ferdi Tayfur, came to the mosque courtyard and wanted to touch her father's coffin, Şirin Gözalıcı, who was learned to be the famous artist's niece, confronted Tuğçe Tayfur, saying, "She should not have come here... He died because of her."

As the fight between the two escalated to the point of swearing, those around them and Tuğçe Tayfur’s mother, Necla Nazır, intervened to try to calm the parties down.

"THEY WOULD HAVE CAUSED A SCENE AT THE HOSPITAL TOO"

Ferdi Tayfur's ex-wife and Tuğçe Tayfur's mother, Necla Nazır, spoke to Onur Üçkarışoğlu from tv100 Magazin Hattı about the fight. Nazır said: "I want to say this to those who love Ferdi Tayfur. There was someone there. They said, 'Why didn't you come to the hospital?' You saw very clearly why I didn't come. How am I supposed to deal with people with rotten insides, my dear? They did this at the funeral. How could we have gone to the hospital? They would have caused a scene at the hospital too.

"WE REMAINED SILENT CONSTANTLY"

People don't know the inside story of what we are going through. In other words, they are speaking without knowing the facts. We have remained silent constantly. We have no issues with anyone.

But they made it seem as if my child and her father were enemies. There is no such thing. He is her father. What wouldn't those who did this to my child at the funeral do normally? Would those who do not respect the dead respect the living? Would they have let her kiss her father's hand? They built a wall of flesh. They wouldn't let her get close."
