Netanyahu to face court! Testimony process could take weeks
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will appear in court as part of the corruption case opened against him in 2019. The court panel will deliberate on the postponement request filed by Netanyahu.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will appear in court as part of the corruption case opened against him in 2019.
Netanyahu is expected to testify on December 2 at the Jerusalem District Court, located in occupied East Jerusalem.
According to a report in The Times of Israel, the prosecution was heard earlier this year, and the date for the court appearance was set for December 2.
The report also stated that because there are three separate corruption files against him, Netanyahu's testimony process could last for weeks.
Through his lawyers, Netanyahu requested that the testimony process be postponed by two and a half months. The reason cited was that it would not be possible for Netanyahu to prepare for the case due to Israel's ongoing attacks on Gaza and Lebanon.
