New alliance in Parliament: Talks for a joint group are restarting

In the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), a political party must have at least 20 deputies to form a parliamentary group. However, none of the Saadet, Gelecek, or DEVA parties can reach this number on their own.

Previously, the Saadet Party and the Gelecek Party had managed to form a group with the support of the CHP.

Now, it is stated that these three parties aim to create a more effective political structure by forming a joint group.

TALKS WILL BEGIN AFTER THE CONGRESS

DEVA Party Chairman Ali Babacan and Gelecek Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu had previously announced that they were holding contacts toward forming a joint group.

However, these talks, which were waiting for the completion of the Saadet Party's congress process, will be put back on the table.

YENIDEN REFAH PARTY MAY ALSO BE INCLUDED IN THE PROCESS

According to the report by Ünsal Ergen from Gerçek Gündem, the inclusion of the Yeniden Refah Party in the alliance talks may also come to the agenda.

It was stated that the leaders of the three parties will re-evaluate both their alliance strategies and their plans to build a strong structure in Parliament in the coming days.
