New claim in Narin Güran murder: There were 3 other youths in the vehicle with her brother when the body was moved! The whereabouts of 2 are unknown...

The investigation continues into the murder of Narin Güran, who was reported missing on August 21 in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of the Bağlar district in Diyarbakır, and whose lifeless body was found 19 days later.

Although 11 people, including Narin’s mother, brother, and uncle, have been arrested as part of the investigation, the murder has not yet been solved.

It has still not been determined who or whom killed 8-year-old Narin, or for what reason.

As the investigation that has dominated Turkey's agenda continues, T24 columnist Tolga Şardan has shared new information he obtained regarding the murder in his column.

Şardan reported that in addition to the older brother Enes Güran, three other young people were also present in the vehicle belonging to the uncle, Salim Güran, in which Narin's body was transported, but that the whereabouts of two of these three young people are currently unknown.

"While following the process from local sources as well as from Ankara, I have reached some new information.

The first of these is that while Narin's body was being transported in uncle Salim Güran's vehicle, there were three young people in the car, and the whereabouts of two of those three young people are unknown…

According to allegations, Narin Güran left the Quran course at the village mosque earlier than usual on August 20. For this reason, the mosque imam's statement was taken. He was questioned about Narin's final hours at the mosque.

Narin came home and encountered a scene—as almost everyone has stated—that she should not have seen.

Among the actors in this scene that the little girl witnessed was her uncle, Salim Güran, who is currently under arrest.

When Narin stated that she would tell her father, who was not in the village at the time, about what she had experienced, the button was pressed within the family for the beginning of the end.

The next day, Narin, who was returning home from Quran classes again, was told by her mother that her older brother Enes, who worked outside the village, had arrived and was waiting for her in the barn. Narin entered the barn to see her brother, whom she had not seen for some time.

According to the same allegation, her older brother strangled Narin to death while two friends were with him. He then made contact with his uncle, Salim Güran. Uncle Güran arrived at the barn, got into his vehicle with the three young men and Narin's body, and left the village.

Narin's body was in the front passenger seat of the vehicle. In the back, her brother Enes and two of his friends traveled for a while.

During this time, blood came from Narin's nose. Those in the vehicle panicked. Uncle Güran dropped the three young men off on the road before reaching the gas station where he was caught on camera.

Uncle Salim Güran arrived at the gas station after this incident, which took place on August 21. He left after purchasing only a large amount of wet wipes without refueling.

What happened after this is not yet known.

However, the only thing known within the framework of the claim in question is that the two young people in the vehicle have vanished without a trace!

As far as I have been following, no information has emerged regarding the two young people mentioned in the claim.

DID THEY USE BURNER PHONES?

Another point that draws attention in the investigation is the false reports made immediately after the incident to mislead the gendarmerie.

In this regard, information has emerged in the public domain that certain individuals from the village made baseless reports to divert the gendarmerie from the matter. It was stated that the fake reports were made by removing the SIM cards from mobile phones.

However, there is also information that the baseless reports were made using "suspicious" SIM cards, known as "potato lines," which utilize someone else's identity information. Local sources have even stated that nearly 30 "potato lines" were used for this purpose.

The "muddying the waters" tactics carried out by suspects who emerged during the process, particularly the use of phone lines defined as potato lines, have raised the question of whether the family was provided with support in this matter.

DID THE UNCLE HAVE HIS BROTHER KILLED?

The murder of Narin Güran has brought certain past events in the village back into the spotlight.

Finding the death of Narin's sister, Tülin Güran, suspicious, the prosecutor's office has reopened the investigation into the sister's death alongside Narin's.

There is one more piece of information I have obtained during this process.

Specifically, a member of the Güran family—according to the information received, a brother of Salim and Arif Güran—was shot and killed in a cotton field in 2011.

A suspect, who was stated to be 15 years old at the time the incident occurred, surrendered by claiming to have committed the murder.

When looking at the general sociology of the country, it is not very surprising that the suspects who turn themselves in to the courthouse after such incidents are young.

Many similar incidents have occurred, and are even still occurring, in this geography.

Let me note it here; perhaps the prosecutor's office will take this file back onto its agenda."
