New detail in Narin Güran murder: Family members left no clues

Details have emerged from the investigation into the murder of Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 in Tavşantepe Village in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, and whose body was found in a sack in a stream on September 8.

Six days after the young girl went missing, the prosecutor's office applied to the duty Criminal Court of Peace to wiretap the phones of family members. The court accepted the request, stating that there was no other way to obtain evidence.

ENTIRE FAMILY UNDER SURVEILLANCE

Upon the prosecutor's request, the phones of many individuals, including Narin's father, mother, brother, uncles, cousins, and the village imam, were wiretapped between August 27 and September 8. However, the prosecutor's office did not encounter any suspicious conversations during this period.

In the phone records transmitted to the prosecutor's office by the BTK (Information and Communication Technologies Authority), the conversations between family members consisted only of daily life topics and discussions evaluating routine search activities regarding Narin's disappearance. No clues related to the murder could be identified.

Following the discovery of the young girl's body, the individuals under surveillance were taken into custody on the same day.

However, the absence of any suspicious conversations or messages that could serve as evidence has made the investigation even more complex. The prosecutor's office is now attempting to proceed through other evidence.

The investigation into the Narin Güran murder continues. New methods will be implemented to identify the perpetrator or perpetrators.
