New details emerge regarding Narin's uncle Salim Güran! 'While search efforts were ongoing...'
Journalist Ferit Demir shared his impressions regarding uncle Salim Güran, who was arrested in the Narin Güran murder investigation, noting what he observed while the search for Narin was still underway, and posed a series of questions.
The murder of Narin Güran, who was reported missing on August 21 in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of Diyarbakır's Bağlar district and whose lifeless body was found 19 days later, has become a central issue on Turkey's agenda.
As part of the ongoing investigation, 12 people, including Narin's mother, brother, and uncle, have been arrested.
Despite entering the 40th day of the investigation, the killer or killers of 8-year-old Narin have not yet been found.
In the brutal murder case that has dominated Turkey's agenda, family members have frequently provided contradictory statements, while the villagers' interference in the search efforts for Narin has deeply wounded the public conscience.
Many allegations have surfaced in the public domain regarding the murder of 8-year-old Narin. It had been alleged that there was an affair between her uncle, Salim Güran, who was arrested on September 2 while the search for Narin was still ongoing, and Narin's mother, Yüksel Güran, and that Narin was killed after witnessing this relationship.
Nevzat Bahtiyar, the detainee who confessed to dumping Narin’s body in the Eğertutmaz Stream, confirmed this claim in his latest statement while also alleging that her uncle, Salim Güran, was the one who killed Narin.
As all eyes turn to uncle Salim Güran in the brutal murder of Narin, who was strangled to death, Halk TV reporter Ferit Demir raised striking questions regarding Salim Güran.
Sharing his observations regarding Salim Güran during the days when the search efforts for Narin were ongoing, Demir stated in his post, "Was he sending a message that 'I will do what is necessary if anyone talks?'"
Ferit Demir used the following expressions in his post:
"I will share an observation regarding uncle Salim Güran, the number 1 suspect in the investigation into the brutal murder of Narin, and ask a few questions. Of course, I also know that I will not receive any answers.
After Narin went missing, I stayed in the village for a long time and conducted broadcasts. From the day Salim Güran was taken into custody, he never once removed his licensed firearm from his waistband, keeping it in plain sight for everyone to see. Even when the governor and the Gendarmerie commander came to the village, he always went to the area where they were present while armed.
"WAS HE SENDING A MESSAGE THAT 'I WILL DO WHAT IS NECESSARY IF ANYONE SPEAKS'?"
Let us ask now;
Why was Salim Güran walking around with a weapon while there were dozens of gendarmes in the village?
To whom was Salim Güran sending a message by walking around the village with his weapon specifically in plain sight?
Why did Salim Güran specifically walk around with his weapon always visibly tucked into his waistband?
Was Salim Güran, who is also the village headman, under such a threat of attack that he would go to see the Governor while armed?
Was Salim Güran sending a message that he would do what was necessary if anyone spoke up, by walking around with his weapon visible while dozens of soldiers were in the village?
No one will answer these questions, but I asked them anyway..."
