Oğuz Aydın scored two goals for Fenerbahçe: He experienced firsts
In the 13th week of the Trendyol Super League, a first occurred as Jose Mourinho gave Oğuz Aydın a chance in the match where Fenerbahçe was the guest of Kayserispor.
Oğuz Aydın became the first Turkish player since the 2007/08 season to score two goals in his first Süper Lig start for Fenerbahçe.
A CAREER FIRST AS WELL
The 24-year-old footballer also achieved a first in his career with the goals he scored. It was the first time in his professional career that Oğuz Aydın scored two goals in an away match.
Meeting the ball in the penalty area from a Fred pass, Oğuz found the net with a stylish strike using the outside of his right foot, marking his first goal in the Süper Lig in his first start of the season.
During a fast break for Fenerbahçe, Mert Hakan Yandaş met the ball on the right wing and delivered a low cross into the penalty area, where Oğuz Aydın struck the ball cleanly with the inside of his foot to extend the lead to 3 and record his second goal of the match.
Earlier, Oğuz Aydın had been unable to capitalize on a chance after finding himself one-on-one with Kayserispor goalkeeper Bilal Bayazit following a through ball from Dusan Tadic.
Oğuz Aydın, who was transferred from Alanyaspor at the beginning of the season, started a Süper Lig match for the first time in a Fenerbahçe jersey. The young footballer, who also started in the friendly match against Zenit during the international break, had previously appeared in 2 league matches and 2 UEFA Champions League qualifying matches this season.
