Peer bullying knows no gender: 'If you file a complaint, we will beat you worse'
In the Ortaca district of Muğla, two girls, alleged to be high school students, recorded footage of themselves brutally beating and assaulting a younger girl. The girls, who also threatened the victim by saying, 'If you file a complaint, we will beat you worse,' displayed scenes of violence that left viewers absolutely horrified.
The latest footage of peer bullying, which is increasingly causing concern among parents as incidents of violence in schools rise every day, has emerged in the Ortaca district of Muğla. According to allegations and footage recorded with a mobile phone camera, two out of three female students took a girl younger than themselves to an abandoned area, where they collaborated to assault her while the third recorded the act of peer bullying.
While two of the girls brutally beat the younger child, it is understood from the conversation in the recorded footage that they were assaulting the younger girl over a boy.
The helplessness of the girl, who was beaten for minutes, was captured on camera, and it is not yet known whether security forces have intervened in the incident.
