A march was held for Sinem Topaloğlu, who was killed in her home on July 31 by her husband, Ali Eren S., from whom she was in the process of divorcing, in the Beşikdüzü district of Trabzon.
Hundreds of people gathered in front of the Beşikdüzü Fatih Mosque, wearing black clothing. In the silent march, which featured no slogans, flags, or banners, Trabzon residents walked accompanied by lights.
The march was attended by Sinem Topaloğlu's mother, Derya Topaloğlu, and her grandfather, Ali Haydar Topaloğlu, as well as Yasemin Minguzzi and Andrea Minguzzi, the mother and father of the murdered Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi.
The group, which marched to the town center, later held a moment of silence.
Yasemin Minguzzi stated, "The pain is truly immense. The incident is huge. Normally, we were going to go to our village and our house in Of with Ahmet this month. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. The struggle continues.
We will never stop. That is already the reason I came here.
Nothing is in vain. We are behind all the children; we will never leave them alone," she said.
