Racehorses escape onto the highway, causing chaos

The incident occurred in the evening hours on the Malatya-Ankara highway in the Sultansuyu area. Due to theescaped horses, 3 vehicles sustained major damagewhile 2 people were injured. 

Additionally, 6 of the horses thatran onto the roaddied, while 4 horses were captured with injuries and taken under treatment. 

AkçadağMayor Hasan Ulutaş, who conductedinspections in the area alongside the Akçadağ District Governor,statedthat they were deeply saddened by the incident and that as soon as they were informed of the situation, they went to the region to receive information from the authorities. He addedthatthey conveyed their get-well wishes to the citizens injured in the incident.Mayor Ulutaşnotedthat out of the 19 horses thatescaped, 9 were captured, 6 horses died, and 4 injured horses were taken under treatment.
