Real Madrid wins the duel between Arda and Kenan

In the round of 16 of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup held in the USA, Spanish side Real Madrid, featuring Arda Güler, faced off against Italian representative Juventus, featuring Kenan Yıldız.

The first half of the match, played at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami and officiated by Polish referee Szymon Marciniak, ended in a goalless draw.

Real Madrid started the second half more effectively.

In the 54th minute, following a cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold, who entered the penalty area from the right, Gonzalo Garcia sent the ball into the net with a header, putting Real Madrid 1-0 ahead.

With no further goals in the remaining minutes, the 'Los Blancos' left the pitch with a 1-0 victory and secured their place in the quarterfinals.

For Real Madrid, Arda Güler was replaced by Luka Modric in the 78th minute of the match, while for Juventus, Teun Koopmeiners came on for Kenan Yıldız in the 71st minute.

In the quarterfinals, Real Madrid will face the winner of the Borussia Dortmund vs. Monterrey match on Saturday, July 5.
