Research results announced: The car brands with the fewest breakdowns
A study conducted by CarMD in the US has identified the car brands with the fewest breakdowns. The list shows that Japanese brands stand out.
Buying a car in Turkey is becoming increasingly difficult every day due to high interest rates and the high cost of living. Despite these challenging conditions, those considering purchasing a vehicle want to minimize maintenance costs by choosing long-lasting and reliable cars that do not break down.
The U.S.-based research firm CarMD has identified the top 5 most reliable car brands worldwide. According to the research results compiled by Shiftdelete.net, the 5 car brands that break down the least are as follows:
5 - Honda
The Japanese brand Honda, which is also popular in Turkey, took 5th place on the list.
4 - Hyundai
Korean manufacturer Hyundai has secured the 4th spot on the list of the most reliable cars. Having also achieved a certain level of popularity in Turkey, Hyundai holds a strong position in the April 2023 sales figures list as well.
3 - Acura
Acura, a Japanese brand that is not very well known in Turkey, ranks 3rd on the list. Acura has been prominent since 1986 for the luxury cars it produces for the US, Canada, and Hong Kong.
2- Toyota
Known for its durability, the automotive brand Toyota took the 2nd spot on the list.
1- Mazda
Mazda, one of the largest brands in the Japanese automotive market, ranks first on the list of the most reliable cars prepared by CarMD. Mazda had decided to end its sales in Turkey last year.
