Scammers use AI to make Selçuk Bayraktar speak for fraud: They are using the TRT Haber logo

While videos prepared using artificial intelligence represent the fun and colorful side of technology, these technologies can sometimes become dangerous in the hands of scammers.

Sites that provide investment advice through videos prepared using the faces of famous figures are deceiving hundreds of thousands of citizens and stealing their money. One of the names used by scammers in this regard is Selçuk Bayraktar, the son-in-law of AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan and the Chairman of the Board of Baykar.

The scammers, who share a video of Bayraktar appearing to give investment advice on the site they created, use the name 'TRT Haber' to make their actions seem convincing, and they also share the money they have earned from their investments and their satisfaction through fake accounts.

BAYRAKTAR WARNED

Bayraktar had previously warned citizens against fraud attempts using his name and image on social media platforms and had used the following expressions:

"I would like to remind you once again that Baykar, which is not a publicly traded company, never makes investment offers or recommendations. Our legal processes regarding these types of fraud attempts are ongoing. I kindly request all our citizens to be careful against such content and not to give them any credence."
