Shocking detail emerges in Semih Çelik murder case

A new detail has emerged in the massacre committed by Semih Ç., who killed two young women and then jumped from the city walls to commit suicide, shaking Turkey to its core.

Turkey continues to discuss the scandal involving 19-year-old Semih Ç., who murdered Ayşenur H. and İkbal U., both also 19, in Istanbul's Fatih district last Friday.

First, Semih Ç. killed Ayşenur H. by slitting her throat at his own home in Eyüp, then met İkbal U. at the city walls in Edirnekapı, where he decapitated her and threw her head down.

The murder suspect then put a rope around his neck and jumped from the walls, ending his own life.

THEY BOUGHT BREAD TOGETHER FROM THE BAKERY

It was determined that the murder suspect, Semih Ç., met with Ayşenur H. outside and they went to a bakery together to buy bread for breakfast. Security camera footage from the area revealed that the two went to the bakery together.

HE REPORTED HIMSELF

According to a report in Sabah, after taking the young woman to his home and committing the murder there, Semih Ç. called the police from his own mobile phone to report the crime he had committed.

It was learned that Semih Ç. then set off for the city walls in Fatih to meet İkbal U. to commit the second murder.

İKBAL'S PHONE UNLOCKED

On the other hand, it was learned that the iPhone used by Ayşenur H. has not yet been unlocked, and investigations by the authorities are ongoing.

The examination of Semih Ç.'s laptop is continuing.
