Significant post from Süleyman Soylu regarding Bahçeli: 'We are not among those who doubt'

While the MHP's "If the subject is the homeland" posts on social media continue, Bahçeli's statements regarding Öcalan and his meeting with Erdoğan remain the main agenda of politics. 

Following Bahçeli's reiteration of his call to PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan to "Come and declare that you have disbanded the organization in Parliament," former Interior Minister and AKP İstanbul MP Süleyman Soylu had expressed his support for Devlet Bahçeli, commenting that it is "an opportunity for Turkey." 

Following the MHP's "If the subject is the homeland" messages on social media, another message of support came from Soylu. 

SUPPORT FOR BAHÇELİ FROM SOYLU

In his post on X, Soylu stated the following:

"Devlet Bahçeli is demonstrating a historic example of leadership.

The world is going through a period of fracture, and Turkey is passing through the middle of many dangers at a sharp crossroads. With our leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who says let us leave a 'terror-free Turkey' to future generations, they are opening a new path with their experience, accumulation, sacrifice, and wisdom. 

This path is the path of unity, brotherhood, civilization, and a Strong Turkey.

Our faith in this is absolute.

Our faith in Devlet Bahçeli is absolute. 

Our faith in Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is absolute.

Their unity will dismantle all the traps being set and will leave a secure Turkey to our future generations.

'WE ARE NOT AMONG THOSE WHO DOUBT'

Whether we are in politics or not, we are members of the cause of a 'Great Turkey' from our ancestors. No matter who turns back, we will not turn back from our cause.

The note "we are not among those who doubt" included at the end of Soylu's message was interpreted as a reference to those within the AKP and MHP who do not support the process.
