Suspect attacks police responding to call with dog

The incident occurred on Pınarbaşı Street in the Alipaşa neighborhood of the central Osmangazi district. According to the information obtained, police teams were dispatched to the address following a report that H.A. was committing violence against his wife, S.A.

When the police arrived at the house and attempted to take the woman and her child, H.A. became enraged and set his pit bull, a banned breed, on the teams.

One police officer was injured in the leg as a result of the dog's attack. After the animal was neutralized, authorities attempted to take H.A. into custody.

However, H.A. resisted during the arrest and injured another police officer in the arm. While the two injured officers were taken to the hospital, the victim of the violence and her child were placed under protection.

The suspect H.A. was taken to the police station, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
