Tension between Turkish and Greek fishermen in the Aegean
Tension flared between Turkish and Greek fishermen off the coast of the Saros Gulf in the Aegean Sea.
According to allegations, the incident began when Greek fishermen steered their boats toward Turkish fishermen between the island of Samothrace and Enez.
The Turkish fishermen did not remain silent in the face of this harassment attempt.
Quickly organizing via communication systems, the Turkish purse seiner and trawler boats followed the harassing Greek vessels back to Turkish territorial waters and pushed them away.
The moments were recorded second by second by the Turkish fishermen using their mobile phone cameras.
