Terrifying moments on a plane landing in Antalya: Two tires burst at once
A Corendon Airlines plane arriving in Antalya had its tires burst during landing. Passengers and crew were evacuated.
The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that two rear-right tires of a Corendon Airlines aircraft operating the Munich–Antalya flight burst during landing, and that 174 passengers and a crew of 6 were safely evacuated.
The statement said: "Two rear right tires of the Corendon Airlines aircraft with registration number TC-TJV, operating the Munich–Antalya flight, burst during landing at around 14:10."
174 passengers and 6 crew members were safely evacuated without any incident. The aircraft was then parked in a safe area without disrupting flights."
