TFF announces 1,024 footballers who placed bets: Here are the names of the Süper Lig players

In a written statement issued by the TFF, it was stated: "As part of the betting investigation conducted by the Turkish Football Federation regarding professional leagues, it has been decided to refer 1,024 footballers identified as having engaged in betting to the PFDK with precautionary measures, effective from 10.11.2025, in accordance with Article 57 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions."

Due to the referral of 1,024 footballers to the PFDK with precautionary measures, urgent negotiations have been initiated with FIFA to grant a 15-day transfer and registration period, exclusively at the national level, in addition to the 2025-2026 winter transfer window, to allow clubs to fill gaps in their squads.

With the TFF Board of Directors' decision dated 10.11.2025, it has been decided to postpone the match fixtures of the TFF 2nd League and TFF 3rd League by 2 weeks. TFF Süper Lig and TFF 1st League matches will continue to be played as previously announced. The disciplinary referral procedures for 47 footballers, who were observed to have engaged in betting activity only once, will be evaluated within the framework of new evidence and information to be obtained as a result of the responses from relevant institutions, in order to avoid irreparable harm. Correspondence with official institutions by the Turkish Football Federation is ongoing, and the investigation will be expanded and continued based on these incoming responses. The 1,024 footballers referred to the PFDK in accordance with Article 57 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions are listed below," the statement said.
