They chased and cornered the ambulance for kilometers

The incident occurred at the Eskişehir Ambulance Service Chief Physician's Office located in the Yenikent neighborhood of the Odunpazarı district. According to the information obtained, the ambulance with license plate 26 E 2371, passing through the Mamuca Junction in the Erenköy neighborhood of the Odunpazarı district, requested the right of way from a car with license plate 26 FK 695.

Subsequently, the occupants of the vehicle, for reasons yet unknown, became angry at the ambulance, began to follow it, and started to corner it. The ambulance, driving at high speed through the city, tried to lose the tailing vehicle by taking various routes. The ambulance, which entered traffic against the flow several times and narrowly avoided multiple accidents, was persistently pursued by the vehicle, which violated traffic rules.

THEY ENTERED THE INSTITUTION AFTER THE AMBULANCE THAT TOOK REFUGE AT THE CHIEF PHYSICIAN'S OFFICE

The vehicle in question entered the state institution following the ambulance, which had taken refuge at the Eskişehir Ambulance Service Chief Physician's Office. The two individuals headed toward the ambulance and began shouting. According to the claims of the health personnel—one man and two women—who locked the doors of the ambulance in fear while in the garden of the Eskişehir Ambulance Service Chief Physician's Office, the two individuals began striking the ambulance. The out-of-control state of the individuals was recorded by the staff.

The situation was reported to the police. It was noted that only one police unit arrived at the scene and that no alcohol tests were performed on the individuals. During the police procedures, it is also alleged that a minibus full of friends, whom the individuals had called to the scene, practically raided the Eskişehir Ambulance Service Chief Physician's Office. The individuals, who were removed from the premises upon police warning, essentially stood guard at the institution's gate.

"MY PERSONAL RIGHTS ARE BEING ATTACKED"

Although the individual, upon learning that the police would take him into custody, apologized to the medical team and wanted to go home, his efforts were unsuccessful. When asked by a member of the press why they had done this, the individuals who chased the ambulance and caused chaos in traffic first laughed and avoided answering, then complained by saying, "My personal rights are being attacked." The individuals were taken to the police station for processing. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.

On the other hand, the medical team stated that they could not continue their duties due to the violence they experienced.
