They were being sought as missing: One of the girls allegedly poisoned by alcohol has died
In Ankara, one of the two girls, aged 14 and 16, who were being sought as missing and were allegedly poisoned by the alcoholic beverages they consumed, has died, while it was learned that the other child, who has been intubated, remains in critical condition.
According to allegations, 16-year-old E.K.E.A. and her 14-year-old friend H.K., whom their families had not heard from for some time and had reported as missing, called the 112 Emergency Call Center to state that they had consumed alcohol and were feeling unwell.
H.K., one of the girls who was transported to the hospital by medical teams dispatched to the scene upon the report, could not be saved despite interventions.
It was learned that her friend E.K.E.A., who is unconscious and has been intubated, remains in critical condition.
It was reported that the police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
