Tour minibus overturns after colliding with light commercial vehicle: 14 injured, 13 of them students
In Malatya, 14 people, 13 of whom were students, were injured in an accident where a light commercial vehicle with a blown tire collided with a tour minibus.
The accident occurred in the Karapınar area on the Malatya-Adıyaman highway.
According to reports, the light commercial vehicle with license plate 28 AZ 683, which was traveling in the direction of Adıyaman, lost control after its tire blew out and collided with the Mercedes-brand tour minibus belonging to the Adıyaman Turan Turizm company, which was traveling in the same direction with license plate 02 AFS 117.
Due to the impact of the collision, the minibus overturned and landed on its side. 14 people, 13 of whom were students, were injured in the accident.
Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to various hospitals in the city after receiving initial medical intervention at the scene.
An investigation into the accident has been launched.
