Tragic news from mother who lost her husband and 2 children in accident
The death toll from a three-vehicle traffic accident in Nevşehir has risen to 4. The mother, who was seriously injured in the accident, passed away 19 days later at the hospital where she was receiving treatment.
The accident occurred on the evening of March 19 at the Karapınar junction on the Nevşehir-Aksaray highway.
According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 50 ADN 655, driven by Mehmet Gültekin Cingitaş (36), who was traveling from Ankara to Nevşehir for the Ramadan Feast holiday, collided head-on with the car with license plate 50 LF 858, driven by Yasin Çiğdem.
Meanwhile, a minibus with license plate 07 BMR 304, driven by Hasan Sarıyıldız and coming from the direction of Aksaray, also struck the vehicles involved in the accident.
In the accident, driver Mehmet Gültekin Cingitaş and his son Aras Cingitaş (9) lost their lives at the scene, while 7 people injured in the crash were taken to various hospitals in the city by ambulance.
One of the injured, Kayra Cingitaş (15), could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital.
Pelin Cingitaş, who lost her husband and two children in the accident and was herself critically injured, lost her 19-day battle for life at the hospital where she was being treated.
