Trump's Turkey surprise: They announced the date he will come to Turkey!

It has been alleged that US President Donald Trump is considering a visit to Turkey next month.

In a report based on White House sources, CNN International stated that Trump plans to visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates as part of his Middle East tour, and that Turkey could be added to this itinerary.

The report noted that the decision for the visit has not yet been finalized, but that planning has begun. An official speaking to CNN claimed that the visit in question was brought up during one of the recent phone calls between Trump and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

HE WILL NOT GO TO ISRAEL

The same sources also stated that Trump is not currently considering including Israel in his Middle East tour.

The claims of a visit have also been discussed in Turkey. tv100 Main News anchor Kübra Par, citing her sources in Ankara, said that Trump is seriously considering coming to Turkey in May.

'HE IS CONSIDERING VISITING IN MAY'

In her statement during the live broadcast, Kübra Par said, "I asked my sources in Ankara. The news is true. Trump is considering and evaluating coming to Turkey in May."

A notable statement on the subject also came from Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan. While answering a question about a possible US visit by President Erdoğan during a television program he attended last night, Fidan said that both leaders have expressed a will for mutual visits.

Fidan said, "The preparation is as follows: it is a matter on which the leaders have now expressed their will. We are currently discussing when and where this will take place."

To the program host's question, "It could be in Turkey, or it could be in the US? Meaning, Trump could come, or Erdoğan could go?", he replied, "Both are possible," giving a green light to a potential Trump visit.
