Some Syrians planning to return to their country have begun to rapidly dispose of the homes, workplaces, and automobiles they possess.

The number of listings on websites titled "For sale by Syrian" and "Urgent bargain" is increasing rapidly.

These listings are particularly drawing attention with prices below market value. For example, a residence expected to sell for 3 million TL can drop to as low as 2 million TL due to the "urgent sale" justification.

Workplaces for sale, such as restaurants, have also begun to appear more frequently in major cities.

Real estate agents and industry representatives state that this activity in the market offers opportunities for local buyers. However, they also issue warnings: it is noted that fraud incidents could increase and some listings presented as "bargains" could be deceptive.

Experts underscore that buyers must act cautiously.

It is anticipated that not all Syrian refugees will return to their country and that the return process will proceed gradually. Even a return of 10 percent in the first phase could create significant activity in the real estate and automobile markets.

Conversely, it is stated that the return process for Syrians who have established businesses in Turkey and integrated their lives here will take more time.
