Vehicles swept away by floodwaters in Ankara, damaged cars captured from the air

The incident occurred in Ankara's Keçiören district. Vehicles were swept away by floodwaters during a sudden downpour.

Many vehicles were damaged on the street that succumbed to the flood.

While vehicle owners were relieved to have saved their lives, they were saddened by the damage to their cars.

Mehmet Kızıltoprak, who stated that he thought the rain would be temporary, said, "I looked out the window. I saw trash cans coming from above. I went downstairs.

The flood was taking me too, but I held onto a pole. The cars started to slide. It was very bad.

If I had fallen, the flood would have taken me too. A neighbor came and held my hand, and that is how I was saved," he said.

Meanwhile, the damaged vehicles were captured from the air by drone.
