Veteran Yeşilçam actor Salih Güney has reacted against the Turkish Wikipedia for writing his date of birth incorrectly and referring to him as a "gigolo".

Spotted in Nişantaşı, Salih Güney expressed his frustration with the Turkish Wikipedia. Güney said, "My date of birth is January 1, 1945. I sent my birth certificate to Wikipedia through my lawyer, but it still says 1943."

Stating that he was also very upset about being described as a "gigolo", the veteran actor spoke as follows:

"When I was 16, I had a relationship with an American woman. I was a conservatory student, and the woman bought me some things. I had mentioned it in an interview. Wikipedia referred to me as a gigolo. Instead of honoring me, they are chasing cheap things," he said.
