Warning message to those attending the FETÖ ringleader's funeral: 'Wear masks, hats, and glasses'
In the US, some members of the Fetullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) who attended the funeral of ringleader Fetullah Gülen made a great effort to hide their faces.
Some FETÖ members who attended the funeral of ringleader Gülen, whose death was announced on October 20, at a sports complex named Skylands Stadium in New Jersey, tried to hide their faces with the hats, glasses, and masks they wore.
While the location of the ceremony to be held for the FETÖ ringleader was kept secret until the final hours, information was provided via the organization's WhatsApp groups hours beforehand.
In the aforementioned notification message, it was advised that organization members who would attend ringleader Gülen's funeral should bring items with them that could hide their faces.
The message stated, "Wear masks, hats, and glasses. The Turkish press will be there. There will be security. Entry to the stadium will be via QR code."
It was observed that FETÖ members, who flocked to the stadium around noon, covered their faces with hats and masks and tried to hide their exposed eye areas by wearing glasses.
Some organization members in yellow vests also tried to hide their faces with their hands when they saw members of the press.
