An operation was carried out on the villa of Cengiz Şıklaroğlu, nicknamed 'Çerkez Cengiz', in Istanbul. While Cengiz Şıklaroğlu could not be found at his home, searches revealed animals such as a golden eagle, a Nile crocodile, a lovebird, and an anaconda snake, as well as various animal taxidermy specimens.
Officers from the Istanbul Police Department's Anti-Smuggling Crimes Branch conducted an operation at an address in the Görele neighborhood of Beykoz on December 19.
