Following the news of the death of Ferdi Tayfur, who passed away on the evening of Thursday, January 2, at the hospital where he was receiving treatment in Antalya, his fans rushed to the front of the hospital. Fans sang Ferdi Tayfur's songs in front of the hospital. The singer's body was sent to Istanbul by plane on Friday morning.

Ferdi Tayfur's funeral ceremony has also been determined. A ceremony will first be held for the famous singer. He will be laid to rest following the funeral prayer. Ferdi Tayfur's press consultant and nephew, Şirin Gözalıcı, announced the funeral program as follows:

Saturday, January 4

A ceremony will be held at the Atatürk Cultural Center at 12:00 PM.

Ferdi Tayfur will be laid to rest in the family cemetery in Yeniköy following the funeral prayer to be held at the Levent Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque after the afternoon prayer.
