Arda Küçükyetim, who had donned equipment featuring neo-Nazi symbols and stabbed 5 people at a tea garden in Eskişehir, and who was sentenced to 74 years and 17 months in prison, has died in prison.
Arda Küçükyetim (20), wearing an assault vest bearing a neo-Nazi symbol, a helmet and goggles, and concealing his face with a mask, had stabbed and wounded 5 people at the tea garden of Şehit Rüstem Demirbaş Park in Uluönder neighbourhood of Tepebaşı district on 12 August 2024.
Küçükyetim, who had livestreamed the moments on his mobile phone, was sentenced by the court to a total of 74 years and 17 months in prison.
Arda Küçükyetim died by suicide in the prison where he was being held. While Küçükyetim's body was taken to the morgue of Eskişehir Şehir Hastanesi, it was learned that an investigation into the incident had been launched.
