Knife fight between children in a park: Two injured
In a park in the Kocasinan district of Kayseri, two children were injured, one of them by a knife, during a fight between children. The suspect, who fled the scene after the incident, was apprehended along with the weapon used.
According to the information obtained, an argument broke out for an as-yet-unknown reason between K.Y. (16), M.Y. (16), and A.D. (17) at a park located on Turgut Reis Street in the Turgut Reis neighborhood of the district.
As the argument escalated into a fight, A.D. wounded K.Y. in the leg with a knife he was carrying, while M.Y. was injured as a result of being beaten.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. While police teams took security measures in the vicinity, medical teams transported the injured children to Kayseri City Hospital following their initial intervention.
A.D., who fled after the incident, was apprehended in a short time along with the weapon used in the crime. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
