Mentally disabled individual pours gasoline on himself and sets himself on fire: Terrifying moments

The incident occurred around noon in the town center of the Dörtyol district. T.Ş., who is mentally disabled, poured a canister of gasoline over himself and set himself on fire.

Citizens who noticed the individual quickly engulfed in flames intervened immediately with a fire extinguisher. While the flames were extinguished in a short time, health, fire, and police teams arrived at the scene to intervene. The individual, whose condition is critical, was first taken to Dörtyol State Hospital and then transferred to Adana.

It was alleged that the individual, who had previously received treatment in a hospital for balance issues, had been warned by municipal police teams a short while ago for cleaning vehicle windows, and that T.Ş. set himself on fire by pouring gasoline after becoming angry over this situation.
