Münevver Karabulut's mother responds to Tülay Garipoğlu's words: 'While you were making posts with saws'

There were serious questions in the public eye regarding whether Cem Garipoğlu, who murdered Münevver Karabulut and subsequently disposed of her body in a trash bin, had died or been killed. Following a request by the Karabulut family, the DNA samples taken from Cem Garipoğlu's grave matched those of the Garipoğlu family. Rezan Epözdemir, the lawyer for the Karabulut family, announced that the family would appeal the report.

"IF NOT FOR ME, PITY MS. NAGİHAN"

Speaking after the Forensic Medicine Institute's decision, Cem Garipoğlu's mother, Tülay Garipoğlu, said, "I think there is nothing left to talk about. Please allow us to grieve in peace."

"We have both been scorched by separate pains. Please, if not for me, have pity on Ms. Nagihan (Münevver Karabulut's mother, Nagihan Karabulut)," she stated.

"DID HE FEEL SORRY FOR ME WHILE HIS SON WAS CUTTING MY DAUGHTER ALIVE WITH A SAW?"

Nagihan Karabulut, the mother of Münevver Karabulut, responded to these statements made by Garipoğlu's mother. According to a report in Sabah, mother Karabulut said, "This murderer's mother said, 'Please feel sorry for Ms. Nagihan, not for me.'"

I ask him, did he feel pity for me while his son was cutting my daughter alive with a saw? Did he feel pity for me while he hid this monster for 197 days instead of handing him over to justice? Did he feel pity for me while he was celebrating every March 3rd, while he was making posts about saws? Did he feel pity for me after what he did in the Forensic Medicine Institute, in the judiciary, and in the police department to cover up the file?

"Did he feel pity for me while he was cleaning the house that had turned into a bloodbath and hiding the saw they used to cut off my daughter's head? Did he feel pity for me when the court convicted him for this? Did he feel pity for me while he was posing for happy family photos with his children on the blood-stained sofa, while he was laughing? Did he feel pity for me while he was celebrating every March 3rd, while he was making posts featuring saws?" she said.

"FOR 15 YEARS, THEY HAVE NEITHER OFFERED CONDOLENCES NOR PRAYED FOR MERCY"

Stating that she feels pity for them because they have not offered their condolences or prayers for mercy for 15 years, mother Karabulut said, "And then their lawyer, a man named Orhan Şahin, comes out and says, 'I didn't see the laughter and the photo on the blood-stained sofa, I don't remember.'"

"Does Orhan Şahin remember the scandals he caused in forensic medicine, the police department, and the judiciary? These are not human beings; they have not received their share of humanity, they have no conscience. It takes a thousand witnesses to even call it a cemetery; there is nothing there. They even send their lawyer, Orhan Şahin, to collect the body from the Forensic Medicine Institute," she said.

"NO ONE SHOULD CLAIM TO ME THAT THE MONSTER CALLED CEM GARİPOĞLU IS DEAD"

Stating that no one should claim to her that the monster called Cem Garipoğlu is dead, mother Karabulut said, "I do not believe it. As a family, we have requested both an exhumation and an objection to the report through my lawyer. I leave them to God; I do not forgive this Garipoğlu family, who have not received their share of humanity, neither in this world nor in the next. Now, despite all the filth they have committed, they are trying to portray themselves as victims; they should never take my name into their dirty mouths again. I do not believe Cem Garipoğlu is dead. Our legal struggle will continue to the end so that my daughter's blood does not remain unavenged," she said.
