A real estate agent operating in Istanbul's Beylikdüzü district stated that they removed a listing for a 1+1 apartment at 17 thousand liras and plan to re-list it at 25-26 thousand liras after the raise. This situation has once again revealed the extent to which opportunism has reached.

Real estate agent Mehmet Ali Narin stated that they encounter similar situations every year and said the following:

“The Ministry tracks price changes in existing listings, but it cannot inspect the deletion and re-listing of ads at higher prices. This makes things easier for opportunists. During periods of raises, both rental and for-sale housing prices rise rapidly.”
