Orange alert at airports in Turkey following TUSAŞ attack!
Following the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ, an orange alert has been issued at all airports in Turkey. After the attack in Ankara's Kahramankazan district, security measures were increased, and strict controls were initiated for entries and exits at Sabiha Gökçen and Istanbul Airport. Airports have advised passengers to arrive at the terminal at least three hours before their flights.
Security measures have been increased across Turkey following the attack on the TUSAŞ campus located in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara.
Regarding the possibility of an attack on airports, security measures at airports have been raised to the orange alert level.
Following the decision, measures for entries and exits at Sabiha Gökçen and Istanbul Airport have been increased.
In a statement made by Sabiha Gökçen Airport regarding the increase in security measures, it was stated, “Attention passengers: Due to additional measures taken at airports, it is recommended that our passengers arrive at the terminal at least three (3) hours before their flights to avoid potential time losses.”
