Police officer dies by suicide after leaving 'I love you' note
In the Melikgazi district of Kayseri, a police officer died by suicide with a handgun in a vacant lot after leaving a note for his family saying, "I love you. Please forgive me."
According to the information obtained, 53-year-old Murat K. committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a handgun in a vacant lot located on Kadir Has Boulevard in the Şirintepe neighborhood.
Upon notification, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. While police teams took security measures in the vicinity, medical teams determined that Murat K. had lost his life during their initial intervention.
It was learned during the checks that Murat K. was a police officer and had left a note for his family that read, "I love you. Please forgive me." Following the investigation, the body of Murat K. was taken to the hospital morgue. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
