While the investigation into the sudden death of Ece İrtem, one of the well-known names in the Turkish television world, continues, new information regarding the incident has emerged. Following the young actress's passing, details of the statement her mother, Nuriye İrtem, gave to the police have been reached.

Ece İrtem's lawyer, Uğur Gökkoyun, had stated in his announcement that the actress passed away while she was with her mother.

Gökkoyun had used the following expressions in his statement:

"My client Ece İrtem passed away while she was at home with her mother. According to initial findings, we believe she passed away due to a heart attack. The investigation is ongoing. The definitive result will be clarified with the autopsy report. When the autopsy report is released, the public will be informed further. I offer my condolences to her family and all her loved ones."

In the statement, it was emphasized that the autopsy result is being awaited to determine the exact cause of death.

HER FUNERAL WILL BE HELD IN IZMIR

It was reported that the funeral of the 35-year-old actress will be laid to rest tomorrow following a ceremony to be held in her hometown of İzmir.

It was learned that preparations for the final duty to be performed by her family and close circle are ongoing.

Another notable development has occurred within the scope of the investigation into the actress's death.

On the program "Cansu Canan ile Yeni Sayfa" broadcast on SHOW TV, it was announced that the statement given to the police by Ece İrtem's mother, Nuriye İrtem, had been obtained.

Allegedly, Nuriye İrtem described what happened before the incident in her statement with these words:

"At 17:51, we went to a venue on the same street as our house for a birthday celebration. We cut a cake together and had fun. We returned home at 20:36. I put my daughter to bed after she took her antidepressant medication because she was under the influence of alcohol. I heard her get up to go to the bathroom during the night and go back to bed. I called her to have breakfast, but she did not answer. When I entered her room, I saw that a foul liquid was coming from her mouth. She was drinking too much alcohol and was also using heavy antidepressant medications."

ALL EYES ON THE AUTOPSY REPORT

While the investigation into Ece İrtem's death continues, the exact cause of death is expected to be revealed by the autopsy report to be prepared by the Council of Forensic Medicine.

According to the report by Birsen Altuntaş, following Ece İrtem's passing, the actress's lawyer, Uğur Gökkoyun, announced that the claims in question do not reflect the truth.
