Truck fire on the Esenyurt TEM highway

The fire occurred around 22:00 on a semi-truck traveling on the TEM Highway in the Esenyurt Bahçeşehir section. According to the information obtained, smoke began to rise for an unknown reason from a truck heading in the direction of Edirne.

The driver, who noticed the fire, stopped the vehicle in the emergency lane and then reported the incident to the 112 Emergency Service. As the flames quickly engulfed the entire vehicle, police, medical, and fire crews were dispatched upon the report.

While police teams ensured safety on the road, fire crews intervened in the fire. In the incident where no one was injured, the fire was extinguished with the intervention of the fire crews, and the vehicle sustained damage. Due to the fire, traffic was maintained in a controlled manner for a long time. On the other hand, the moments when the truck was burning in flames were reflected on mobile phone cameras.
