Yavuz Bingöl and Nilşah Ağaoğlu tie the knot in a simple ceremony

Artist Yavuz Bingöl married Nilşah Ağaoğlu at a tourist hotel on Sarımsaklı beach in the Küçükköy neighborhood of Balıkesir's Ayvalık district.

A simple wedding ceremony was held on the beach, with Oktay Kaynarca and Elif Buse Doğan serving as witnesses for the couple.

During the ceremony, Yavuz Bingöl's father, Yılmaz Bingöl, pinned the Independence Medal, which belonged to the artist's grandfather Çolak Hüseyin, onto him.

Answering questions, Yavuz Bingöl said, "Thank you very much. Today is actually our happiest day, but as you know, that cursed attack took place at TUSAŞ a few days ago. We wish God's mercy upon our martyrs and offer our condolences to their families and our nation.

That is why we entered this with a bit of sadness. We held a quiet, simple organization among friends," he said.

Numerous guests from the business and art worlds attended the wedding ceremony.
