Young man who rushed to help after seeing accident dies from electric shock
In Bursa, while the driver of a car that crashed into an utility pole was seriously injured, a young man who saw the accident and rushed to help lost his life after being electrocuted by the downed pole.
According to the information obtained, a car with license plate 16 AJF 701, which was traveling on the Çepni neighborhood road, crashed into an utility pole after the driver lost control of the steering wheel.
The driver, O.U., was seriously injured in the accident. Furkan Alan (26), who saw the accident, lost his life after being electrocuted by the downed utility pole while stopping his vehicle to help the injured driver.
Upon notification, health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
While the seriously injured O.U. was taken to the hospital, Furkan Alan's body was taken to the Mudanya State Hospital morgue for an autopsy following the prosecutor's investigation.
An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
