16 workers hospitalized after drinking water poisoning
16 workers at a thermal power plant in the Afşin district of Kahramanmaraş were taken to the hospital after showing symptoms of poisoning. It was stated that the workers are in good condition, and the cause of the incident is being investigated.

It was announced that the workers, who were taken under treatment at Afşin and Elbistan State Hospitals, are in good condition.
Following the incident, as it was suspected that the drinking water source at the plant might be the cause of the poisoning, other workers were evacuated by bus as a safety precaution. Authorities announced that detailed analyses will be conducted to determine the exact cause of the poisoning.
