At a middle school located in the Cerrah neighborhood of İnegöl, students in the 5/D class ate çiğ köfte they had purchased from a market together during recess in the morning. Shortly after, the students began to complain of nausea and vomiting. Upon realizing the situation, the school administration notified medical teams.
The ill students were transported to İnegöl State Hospital by ambulance and private vehicles and placed under treatment. Following initial interventions, it was stated that the students' health conditions were good. Following the incident, District Director of National Education Halil İbrahim Zengin also went to the hospital to visit the students.
Meanwhile, teams from the District Directorate of Agriculture have launched an inspection at the market where the students purchased the çiğ köfte. Samples taken from the products have been sent to a laboratory for detailed analysis. Officials stated that the final results would be announced once the tests are completed.
