Action taken following hospital scandals! Comprehensive inspection launched

Following the hospital scandals that have frequently made headlines recently, the Ministry of Health has launched a comprehensive inspection process for public hospitals. In the inspections carried out under the instructions of Minister Kemal Memişoğlu, critical areas such as emergency health services, outpatient clinic services, patient rights, operating rooms, intensive care units, and central sterilization will be prioritized.

In a statement made by the Ministry of Health, it was noted that under the guidance of Minister Kemal Memişoğlu, the audits initiated in public hospitals will focus particularly on high-risk and critically important areas.

SCIENTIFIC COMMISSIONS TO BE ESTABLISHED

Furthermore, it was stated that following the Neonatal Audit and Evaluation Scientific Commission, scientific commissions will be established in 20 additional branches, and clinical guidelines and audit manuals will be prepared to improve the quality of healthcare services.
