Chicken and rice dish causes food poisoning
Fifteen people were hospitalized after consuming food served at a memorial service in the Doğanyurt district of Kastamonu.
At a memorial service held in Haskavak village in the Doğanyurt district of Kastamonu for a person who passed away three days ago, guests were served chicken and rice along with ayran.
Fifteen of the approximately 45 people who attended the event fell ill after eating the food and sought medical attention at the hospital due to suspected food poisoning.
Upon notification of the incident, 112 Emergency Health teams were quickly dispatched to the area. While some citizens reached the hospital on their own, others were transported by medical teams to hospitals in Doğanyurt and İnebolu.
